LIFECYCLE EVENTS + RITUALS
As a Cantor, I appreciate helping people navigate both the highs and the inevitable life challenges we face as human beings. My mission as a clergy person has always been to be of service to those who need guidance through the lens of our faith and to help commemorate these sacred occasions through the utilization of my voice and spirit.

WEDDINGS
It is ever my honor to stand under the chuppah with a wedding couple here in the tri-state area or in a destination of the couple’s choice. I receive great joy from working with couples from diverse backgrounds, including interfaith and LGBTQ+ alike as they prepare for marriage.
Through a meaningful wedding preparation process, by the time we stand beneath the chuppah together, I will share your story with authenticity and love.
PREPARING TO ENTER PARENTHOOD
Another major life transition moment, becoming parents is often equally exciting as it is daunting. Through prayer and blessings for the new parents and the new baby, we welcome the next wonderful stage surrounded by friends and family.
WELCOMING A BABY
A new baby is welcomed into the covenant during the brit milah(circumcision)or simchat bat(celebration of a girl) ceremony surrounded by family and friends. We honor the family members and include them in the ceremony
B’NAI MITZVAH
Marks the celebration and beginning of Jewish adulthood and its meaning. When a young adult reaches 13, they celebrate their B’nai Mitzvah by chanting from the Torah(Five Books of Moses) and Haftara(Prophets). They very often recite parts of the service that day as well.
I am very adept working with children of all learning types and styles having had almost 30 years of experience training b’nai mitzvah. Ceremonies can take place in the synagogue or in another venue of the family’s choice, including destination B’nai Mitzvah.
RETIREMENT CEREMONIES
A new chapter in life celebrated with family, friends and blessings.
FUNERALS & MEMORIAL SERVICES
Judaism emphasizes the need to remember and respect the memory of our dearly departed with their funeral and/or memorial service.
Surrounded by family and friends, whether in person or via Zoom, we pay tribute to the deceased with a moving ceremony.
VISITING THE MIKVAH AFTER MISCARRIAGE
Following the extreme sadness of losing a pregnancy, many find comfort in experiencing the healing waters of the Jewish Mikvah. I will sensitively guide you through a ceremony at the mikvah that will bring you comfort and give you strength for the journey ahead.
RE-PURPOSING SHIVA TO MOURN THE END OF A MARRIAGE
We are very good at celebrating marriage, but what do we do when the marriage falls apart? I will design a ceremony with you to help you navigate the end of a marriage while helping you see a window into the potential of a newly framed life and journey ahead.
